We have decided not to participate in it-sa 2020 this year. This decision was very difficult for us. But when it comes to security, we cannot compromise.
From diamond sponsoring and lectures to the largest exhibition stand in Hall 9 last year: For us and our local partners, the it-sa in Nuremberg has always been the annual highlight. However, due to the current health situation and the expected lower number of visitors, we have decided not to participate this year, even though there is no official cancellation (yet) by the trade fair. In the upcoming months we will see to what extent the industry is prepared to change and adapt to the new circumstances. We are optimistic that we will be able to counteract the loss of the trade fair with innovative concepts. Next year we will take stock of the extent to which participation in the trade fair in the form we have known up to now fits in with the zeitgeist.
A few words from our CEO, Thomas Malchar: “Due to the dynamic development around COVID-19, we decided to take this step relatively early to protect not only our team but also our partners. It would be hypocritical to claim that the decision for or against a participation did not also have an economic component. In this respect, we are facing the challenge of advancing digitization in what is probably the most difficult segment, the Human2Human-Business, and we will emerge from this situation even stronger than before”.
